About this performance
The MSO is about to hit the road on its first European tour in more than a decade.
Join Jaime Martín and the full forces of the Orchestra as they perform two of the pieces that will be on show in the UK and Europe. After years of preparation and anticipation, the MSO is performing at five festivals and venues in Scotland, England, Spain, Italy and Germany – but not before a fitting farewell to our wonderful hometown audience!
The sun-soaked energy and lyrical beauty of Elgar's In The South was inspired by an Italian holiday. Combined with the warm, folk-inspired charm of Dvořák's Sixth Symphony (Jaime's favourite Dvořák Symphony!), you'll enjoy a sunny European summer's evening, right here in Hamer Hall.
Cheer on your MSO at this exclusive, sneak peek event!
