We, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, use our social media channels to engage with our audience and provide greater public access to our organisation. We love to hear from you, the community, be it good, bad or indifferent. We also welcome fresh ideas and we will try to join the conversation with you where we can.

We don’t use social media to respond individually to all messages but we endeavour to respond whenever possible.

We have no problem with our community providing feedback, but we do draw the line at abusive language or conduct. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will moderate content that is aggressive, threatening, defamatory and offensive or considered spam.

We consider our social media channels to be public comment, so if your comments wouldn’t be printed by a newspaper or read aloud on radio, then they are most likely beyond what we would deem acceptable.

Management of our social media channels is entirely at the discretion of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

We hope you will join the conversation with us.

If you have any questions, comments or complaints about how we engage online please contact us.
