The MSO has curated an inspiring 2025 season for schools, bringing together brilliant artists and conductors performing magnificent repertoire. We aim to ignite students’ passion for music outside the classroom and support the work of teachers in the classroom.
MSO For Schools includes concerts for students of all ages and abilities, learning resources for generalist and specialist music teachers to use in the classroom, opportunities for advanced students to extend themselves, and pathways for schools that have never engaged with the MSO before.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous supporter, tickets for all Schools’ concerts remain at the amazing price of $9 continuing to make MSO For Schools accessible for all.

2025 Meet the Music Series
The MSO’s popular Meet the Music Series is an exciting array of incredible performers and much-loved orchestral repertoire. With six concerts to choose from there is something to inspire everyone, including a new relaxed performance designed to be a comfortable place for first-time concert goers as well as audience members with autism, a disability or sensory sensitivity.
Each concert in this series will be accompanied by a digital pre-concert talk with James Le Fevre, Head of Music at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), to help prepare students for the performance.

Geelong Schools Discount
Schools have the opportunity to request discounted tickets for students and teachers to experience the MSO performing at Costa Hall in Geelong.
Tickets are $30 each, with an additional 10% discount when booking 10 or more tickets to a performance.
