Join a new generation of giving

The MSO’s emerging artist initiatives build a vibrant cultural sector by nurturing the careers of exceptional musicians, conductors and composers.

From our artist development programs for outstanding instrumentalists and First Nations composers, to partnering with educational music institutions and orchestras, the MSO is committed to discovering, nurturing, and promoting the next generation of Australian artists.

Government partners provide foundational support that covers a third of the MSO’s total operating costs. To achieve the full scope of our artistic, education and community outcomes, we rely on the generous support of our audience, philanthropic community, and corporate partners who share in our vision to enrich lives through music.

This includes the important role our emerging artists' initiatives play in crafting the next chapter of orchestral music. To help us reach more aspiring musicians and grow the program, we invite a new generation of philanthropists and music lovers to harness the collective power of giving by becoming a Future MSO patron today.

An annual tax-deductible donation of $1,000* will see you join a new generation of supporters who will enjoy:

  • Opportunities to connect with likeminded young professionals
  • Access to bespoke networking events with Future MSO patrons, MSO Musicians and guest artists
  • Behind the scenes experiences that bring you closer to the music
  • Invitations to join the MSO and its artists on international engagements
  • Access to exclusive VIP patron pre-sale
  • Our Patrons are also recognised on the MSO website, Annual Report and in concert programs

Together we can help ensure Australian artists remain at the forefront of our cultural landscape for decades to come.

I am passionate about the MSO and believe Future MSO is an ideal home for young people to belong and harness each other’s philanthropic, creative, and networking energy. Joining Future MSO is a cultural passport for participating in musical experiences together, both in Australia and wherever the MSO travels.
