Hamer Hall provides opportunities for artists and audiences to experience live music performed by the finest musicians from around the world. Located at the gateway to Melbourne’s cultural precinct, Hamer Hall has recently undergone a $135.8 million redevelopment which has brought a new level of comfort for audiences in the auditorium and foyers, while both musicians and audiences now benefit from improvements to stage technology and acoustic performance.

Getting to Hamer Hall
Parking is available in the Arts Centre Melbourne/NGV car park, (Sturt St, Southbank) or
at the Australian Ballet Centre car park (2 Kavanagh St, Southbank). Alternatively, there
are various parking facilities available nearby – see the map below.
Flinders Street Station is located 250 metres from Hamer Hall. Exit the station toward St
Kilda Rd, turn right and head south. Once across the Yarra River, Hamer Hall will be on

The Arts Precinct tram stop (Stop #14) is 210 metres from Hamer Hall. It is located
outside the National Gallery of Victoria and is serviced by tram routes 1, 3/3a, 5, 6, 16,
