New work is in the MSO's DNA.
Season 2024 features 13 new commissions, including 11 by Australian composers and more than half written by women. We continue to support emerging artists through the Cybec 21st Century Australian Composers and First Voices Composer programs.
The MSO will also continue to work respectfully in partnership with First Nations artists and communities to celebrate the oldest continuing music practice in the world.
