Welcome the Year of the Dragon with soprano Cathy-Di Zhang and the MSO performing evocative selections by Qiufeng and Puccini, conducted by Li Biao.
This program also features Dvořák's ever-popular New World symphony – voted #1 in the ABC Classic 100!

*Please note: due to unforeseen circumstances, Hui He is unable to appear as originally scheduled, and Xu Zhong has had to return home to China. While this is unfortunate news, we are pleased to announce that Li Biao will make his MSO debut. Maestro Li is the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Beijing Symphony, and Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra, and we look forward to welcoming him to Melbourne for this special concert.
