About this performance
The one and only Barbra Streisand turns 80 next April and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will celebrate with a very special concert featuring an all-star line-up.
With an extraordinary career spanning six decades, Barbra Streisand is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time and is responsible for some of the world’s most loved songs.
Under the baton of Vanessa Scammell, this premiere concert event will feature Australian Broadway and West End star Caroline O’Connor (Chicago, West Side Story, Anything Goes), Australian singing sensation Katie Noonan and star on the rise Georgina Hopson (Jagged Little Pill, Merrily We Roll Along, Ragtime).
With songs including People, The Way We Were, Don’t Rain on My Parade, Woman in Love, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, No More Tears, Evergreen, Send in the Clowns, Guilty, A Piece of Sky and many more, this will be a concert like no other.
Join us at Hamer Hall to celebrate the music and career of Barbra Streisand.
Co-presented with Live Nation.
