Stanislav Kochanovsky was born and studied in St. Petersburg where he was singled out early on in his career as a unique talent, and is now considered one of the brightest and most promising young conductors heralding from Russia today. With an in-depth knowledge and experience of a wide range of symphonic and operatic repertoire gleaned during his formative years conducting at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St Petersburg and as a Chief Conductor of the State Safonov Philharmonic Orchestra (2010-2015), Kochanovsky is now receiving attention from orchestras and opera houses around the world.
After succesfull debuts with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra (London), Orchestre de Paris, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic. In season 2019/2020 Stanislav will make debut with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra. Stanislav regularly returns to lead performances with Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI, Orchestre National de Toulouse, Belgian National Orchestra, St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and others.
