Birds of Tokyo, one of Australia’s most successful contemporary rock bands, join forces with the MSO this June!

Conductor Vanessa Scammell with lead the five piece band and the MSO in an evening that will showcase brand new music as well as reinterpretations of signature Birds Of Tokyo classics, with arrangements by Nicholas Buc.

“We’ve wanted to do this ever since we collaborated with much smaller ensembles on our Broken Strings tour a decade ago… It’s daunting to be playing with such gifted musicians but it’s also a privilege so we really want to make the most of this opportunity.”
