About this performance
The MSO returns to the Mornington Peninsula with a crowd-pleasing program featuring four orchestral favourites. From catchy dance-tunes by Strauss and Kodaly to the evocative soundscapes of Mendelssohn and Dvořák, this family-friendly symphonic spectacular hits all the right notes.
This performance is led by four participants from the 2026 Australian Conducting Academy, a program dedicated to nurturing the next generation of home-grown conductors. Join us to witness top young talent as they each lead the Orchestra for one of these cherished works.
