MSO Live: Kids Marathon
Saturday 11 July, 10am – 1pm
Take a musical adventure across the globe with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra! The MSO Kids Marathon is a celebration of music making, conducting and creativity.
Children can take part in activities, interactive music-making and stories from different countries and cultures across time.
The marathon will begin with a musical acknowledgment of country, recognising Australia’s first people, and will end three hours later with a trip through the solar system with Holst’s The Planets. Along the way kids will be entertained with conducting workshops, drawing to music sessions, instrument making and interactive concerts.
