This position offers an energetic and passionate Digital and Social Media specialist an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver MSO’s digital marketing strategy to maximise engagement, increase brand equity and achieve income growth.
The Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering best practice online experiences across MSO’s website and social platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement and acquisition. You will work on multi-channel campaigns creating, scheduling and delivering engaging content, as well as channel optimisation and conversion. This is a hands-on role requiring a marketing mind-set, strong digital knowledge, awareness of emerging trends and commercial acumen.

This role is essential to the MSO’s day to day orchestral activities and is responsible for managing the Company’s music library and archives. This includes procuring, preparing and distributing orchestral scores and parts for performances and auditions, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders (both internal and external) and maintaining strong and constructive industry and peer networks. The role also supervises and mentors a part time Assistant Librarian as well as volunteers from time to time.
The role requires a confident and experienced individual, who is well organised, has meticulous attention to detail, superior customer service skills, and deep specialist knowledge of orchestral repertoire. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar position within an orchestral environment, and engaging with musicians, administration and management, as well as a diverse array of stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in music are essential. Formal qualifications in librarianship or related discipline would be very highly regarded
