Due to urgent surgery, American soprano, Deborah Voigt has cancelled her imminent Australian tour, which was to include performances with the MSO in both Melbourne and Sydney.

The advertised program will be performed with soprano soloist Angela Denoke, star of Strauss’ Salome at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the MSO’s Cheif Conductor Designate, Sir Andrew Davis. This concert is now called Sir Andrew Davis conducts Wagner and Strauss.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXISTING TICKET HOLDERS:

It is understood that all patrons were very much looking forward to hearing Ms Voigt in concert and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra sincerely apologises for the disappointment and inconvenience.

The options for ticket holders are:

1. Should you wish to experience the programmed repertoire sung by Angela Denoke with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, please retain your existing booking for the secured seats.
