The Melbourne Symphony Friends Inc. has a unique place in the Orchestra’s heart, having been a significant partner over more than two decades. The organisation voluntarily wound up at the end of 2012, and its activities incorporated into the MSO Patrons program.
Geelong Friends
Become a Geelong Friend of the MSO (GFMSO) and help promote the MSO and its activities in the Geelong community.
The Geelong Friends offer:
- An invitation to a post concert reception and a chance to meet the conductor, soloist and members of the Orchestra.
- An exclusive invitation to the presentation of the new season’s artists and programs.
- An opportunity to hear the Orchestra at work in an open rehearsal.
- Priority tickets for the Friends’ Annual Recital.
- Regular newsletters covering the Friends’ activities and other MSO news.
The GFMSO plays an important part in supporting the Orchestra and ensuring the continuation of the subscription series of five concerts in Geelong’s splendid Costa Hall.
Cost for an annual subscription is $50 for couples and $30 for singles.
