The Masters Series

Purposefully curated for the classical music connoisseur, The Masters Series brings together some of the finest conductors and soloists from around the world. This season we present a selection of outstanding concerts, featuring symphonic masterpieces from magnificent composers.

Choose from Thursday evenings, Saturday matinees or Fridays in Geelong.

The Great Classics

The Great Classics

We will play the Great Classics from Friday through to Monday – the perfect excuse for a night out in the city. Enjoy a meal at a classic Melbourne restaurant, followed by a performance from some of our finest conductors and soloists.

The historic setting of the original home of the MSO is the perfect space to enjoy a series of timeless classics. This year we are thrilled to present two performances led by MSO Associate Conductor Benjamin Northey, and one special concert with guest conductor Nicholas Carter.

There is nothing quite like the spirit-stirring sound of harmonic choral music. We are excited to present The Choral Series, a new addition in 2017. This series will feature some of the greatest spine-tingling orchestral classics of all time with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
