Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and a team of superb Australian soloists, in Rachmaninov’s magnificent musical poem, The Bells. It's preceded by the greatest of all orchestral seascapes, Debussy’s La mer, while Gabriel Fauré’s evergreen Pavane will feature the MSO Chorus singing the rarely-performed text by poet Paul Verlaine.
