MSO CHORUS AUDITIONS

Do you enjoy singing in the shower or humming a tune in the car? Why don’t you share your voice and expand your audience by joining the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus for your chance to sing some of the great works of classical music.

Following the integration of the Melbourne Chorale and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra into the newly-named Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus, auditions are now being held in late January/early February for aspiring singers to join the Chorus for the 2008 program.

"We aim to expand the strength of the MSO Chorus by 50 new singers, and in particular we’re seeking tenors and basses. Male voices are always in demand", said Chorus Master, Jonathan Grieves-Smith.

MSO Chorus auditions will be held on Wednesday 30 Janruary and Wednesday 6 February 2008 at the Iwaki Auditorium, ABC Southbank Centre, 120 - 130 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank.
